Mr & Mrs Little, Warm at Home and Health Through Warmth, WE Care & Repair
Mr Little rang WE Care & Repair just before Christmas 2015 as he was having problems with his boiler. The Home Improvement Agency sent out an engineer the following day who condemned the boiler as it had problems with the air intake, door seals, diverter valve and plate exchanger, but more worryingly it was leaking fumes. The boiler was not cost effective to repair.
A Caseworker from WE C&R visited Mr & Mrs Little on the first day back following the Christmas break and completed an application to FILT for funding.
Along with contributions from The Anchor Society and SSAFA, FILT funding enabled the HIA to fit a replacement boiler.
Mr and Mrs Little are really pleased to have heating and hot water again.
